product was designed by a long time High Power competitor
that understands the needs of the shooters.
ADJUST
WITH JUST ONE HAND
The area that contacts the pole has a special relief to allow
easy movement, with minimal effort. The real bar allows for
positive holding. These two features make the 'tight to loose'
a simple 1/4 turn. The separate elevation adjustment truly
makes this a one hand affair.
This
newly developed scope head is designed to hold the larger
scopes like the Kowa 821M. Unlike other scope heads, this
head can be adjusted with only one hand, while in position.
Other heads require both hands to change where it is focused.
This
scope head is designed to fit your 1" poles, and scope
heads to fit the 3/4" poles will be available soon.
LEFT-HANDED
OR RIGHT-HANDED
We have tapped both sides of the head allowing for assembly
in either orientation. Others have to be turned upside down,
making them difficult to use. This means the Schneller Manufacturing
Scope Head can be used by Left Hand Shooters as well as Right
Hand Shooters. What a bonus!
QUALITY
CONSTRUCTION
The head is constructed of 6061 T-6 Aluminum to last a forever.
It is strong enough to handle the rigors of High Power Competition.
A strong spring has been placed inside to keep the heavier
scopes on target in all conditions. The adjusting wheels are
steel, not plastic. I have been personally using one of these
scope heads for many years, and have made many changes. This
is the culmination of all these upgrades.
