The Vertical Rifle Holder is part of the S.S. Wheeled Shooting Stool Complete System. Now the shooter can hold their rifle either in the horizontal position, (with the factory installed rifle hooks) or vertically with the components supplied.

This accessory keeps the rifle mounted vertically, with the sights either hanging down, or facing up. The barrel and stock are protected by rubber to prevent damage to those components. Vertically mounting the rifle provides less overhang when trying to move your gear back and forth thru the crowded firing line.

The bottom holder assembly is 2” wide on the inside to accommodate almost any rifle. The Vertical Rifle Holder can be adjusted to hold the longest barreled Bolt Gun or the short barreled AR-15. The system can be mounted on either side of the stool to accommodate both left and right hand shooters.

This new innovation gives the shooter a flexibility that was never before possible. I have used this accessory on the firing range, and find it to be much quicker to use then the traditional rifle hooks. The best part of the system is you get to choose whichever is easier for you in each position. In prone you may like to use the vertical mounting, and while in sitting you may like the horizontal.

You can still use the stool for sitting and scoring because the rifle is mounted on the side. I would suggest a right handed shooter mount the rifle on the right side as facing the stool. A lefty should mount it on the left side.

The Vertical Rifle Holder also provides an aluminum tube and a mounting for you to carry a cleaning rod without the fear of damaging it. The tube is held in place by the upper mounting assembly, and a special center mount that is supplied with the kit. It can be adjusted to handle almost all length and caliber rods. Now you will never have to search for a rod when a case fails to extract from the chamber.
