Over the past few years it seems everybody is using more and more expensive front sights. The sights are quite often equipped with magnifying lenses and adjustable apertures. I was becoming alarmed at the possibility of these expensive accessories being exposed to the dust and weather on the range when not shooting. I have always been concerned with protecting the muzzle crown as this is a critical part of a good shooting barrel.

It’s inside dimension will cover even the largest front sight, and has a Velco fastening loop to prevent it from sliding off the muzzle. The cover is water resistant, and made of a material that will withstand normal barrel heat.
